We are reading Mike Walsh’s new book, Life in The Reich. The Germans were doing much better under Hitler’s economic and cultural programs in the 1930s.. In fact, the Allies had good cause to be envious given the deplorable situations in Britain, the US and Bolshevist Russia in the 1930s.
That’s exactly right. Jews have hated Germans for hundreds of years. They would never let it rise to success on it’s own.
Yeah but then there is the concentration camp thing, the bombing of other countries thing, and the taking over other countries thing. This will always been seen to be bad. History is written by the victors, after all. People that think Hitler was a good guy have lost, and will always lose the argument. I’m no fan of Hitler. I think he was a monster just as Churchill, Stalin, Mao etc were … but his memory will never be reimagined by the people who think he was evil personified. That’s just how it is …
